How to strategically equip employees with generative AI

Generative AI has been one of the most advanced and game-changing technologies in the realm of artificial intelligence in the past few years. And guess what, these tools are employee-friendly too.

According to Forbes Advisors’ survey, nearly half (46%) of the 600 business owners currently using or planning to adopt AI in business incorporate AI into internal communications.

I’m talking about email automation, word suggestion, scheduling, and presentation generation, some of which still require double-checking and the appropriate amount of utilization.

So once your employees understand that generative AI is their assistant rather than a threat to their career, everyone wins.

Let’s start by simplifying the definition.

What is generative AI?

To put it simply, Generative AI, or generative artificial intelligence, is a type of technology that can create new content, like images, text, or music, based on patterns it learns from existing data. Instead of just following pre-set rules, it can come up with new things on its own.

There is currently a selection of developers to choose from, a few of which sound something like ChatGPT, Gemini, and MicroSoft Copilot, with their Large Language Model (LLM) which is a type of AI trained on a vast amount of text data to understand and generate human-like language, designed to understand, analyze, and generate coherent responses.

A system that allows effortless communications and operations through imitative human interactions.

Just imagine a chatbot-like interface that resembles your everyday iMessage you receive from your friends and family.

But you’re talking to an AI-powered persona with customized output to serve general users.

Not to mention plenty of generative AI-integrated platforms available online.
